giddy carefreeness underpins this light-hearted brand new comedy about really love on the internet age – it seems just as if everyone is cutting free the summertime. Playwright Ryan Craig has written several huge hitters when it comes to nationwide Theatre, including
The Holy Rosenbergs
, while the superlative sound manufacturers
Ben and Max Ringham
are aboard. But not one person features specially stretched themselves. Anthony Banks’s production is effective and easygoing – a perfectly fun but rather predictable watch.

‘s brilliantly coloured set vaguely resembles a TV recording studio. The term really love is spelled away across huge neon blocks that flank the level and chapters of the audience lounge about on love-seat couches. Between views, the cast dance manically pertaining to. Lights flash brightly while the Ringham brothers’ songs jangles overhead as four young people scour the world-wide-web and spend time in pubs, looking around incredibly for really love in most the incorrect spots.

The script is propped with unlimited video games – phrase play, part play and a deliciously heated period of truth-or-dare. Craig thoroughly distills their metaphor: love is merely a-game of possibility during the period of internet dating (when was it other things?). Evanna Lynch (whom played Luna Lovegood during the Harry Potter films) and
Billy Postlethwaite
tend to be particularly good.

Postlethwaite – whoever last overall performance was as a swaggeringly macho Macbeth – performs an endearingly clueless lad, a financial expert whom makes reference to women as targets and, for online dating purposes, changed their title to Wham. There’s a spontaneity to their and Lynch’s performances that elevates the program and, merely sometimes, makes all that game-playing think genuine.
